Comic #2523

1 Caption: A bar in Roswell:
1 Young Jamie: How will we find our grandmothers? We probably won't recognise them.
1 Young Adam: We know their names.
2 Young Adam: Bartender! Are Mary and Sue here?
2 Bartender: In the booth over there.
3 Young Adam: Hey, what are nice girls like you doing in a place like this?
4 Mary: That's a truly horrible pick-up line, you know.
4 Young Adam: Oh. Myth busted.
4 Young Jamie: You mean confirmed.

Booths are cool. Not many places where I live have them, but one local Mexican restaurant does, and we always request a booth when going there to eat, rather than a standard dining table.

2023-11-19 Rerun commentary: That Mexican place has since closed down. I don't know of any restaurants around here any more that have booths. All the other places I can think of that I've been to that have booths have been in the USA. It seems to be much more an American thing than an Australian thing.
