Comic #218

1 Amidala: It must be difficult having sworn your life to the Jedi... not being able to visit the places you like... or do the things you like.
2 Anakin: Or be with the people I love.
2 Amidala: Are you allowed to love?
3 Amidala: I thought that was forbidden for a Jedi.
3 Anakin: Oh, there's all sorts of loopholes in the Jedi code.
4 Anakin: Obi-Wan says you can lie to the son of a former padawan about the fate of his father, for example. Like that'll ever come up.

2012-07-10 Rerun commentary: Ah, the Jedi Code.

I like to think of it as being a bit like the coughing code* from Get Smart.
