This ambulance only comes with one ambulance officer, so that's why this guy is doing all the work himself.

Having had a trip in an ambulance myself, let me tell you, it's no fun at all.

2014-08-13 Rerun commentary: It's subtle, but you can notice that I digitally altered Steve's eyes in the final panel, to look as though the lids are closed, rather than the usual wide open expression a minifigure face has. I remember that it was glaringly obvious before I made the edit, and made the panel just look weird.

My ride in an ambulance was actually a transfer between hospitals, not an emergency response from an accident scene to a hospital, so it was perhaps a little more relaxed than this one might be. Still, not exactly fun.
