2014-04-16 Rerun commentary: Still, you wouldn't want to live through eternity with... uh... bad teeth? I suppose even if you didn't need to eat your teeth might still get eroded over time. In the same way that, say, rocks do.
Actually, teeth are pretty much the most indestructible bits of a skeleton. A large fraction of the fossils we have of human ancestor species millions of years old are teeth.
