Comic #4841

1 Ponsonby: What news? Have you vanquished the pirates?
2 Mate: No, cap’n. But we have negotiated for them to return Miss Wenchgood to Port Royal for the Governor’s birthday.
2 Ponsonby: Excellent!
3 Mate: They want something in return, though.
3 Ponsonby: And what might that be?
4 Mate: Party favours. And a slice of cake each, wrapped in a paper napkin.

Ah yes, remember those days? When you'd be sent home from your friend's birthday party with a slice of birthday cake wrapped in a paper napkin?

This is very important. As discussed in this authoritative thread on Mumsnet (a forum for parents to discuss vital parenting issues), if you don't wrap slices of birthday cake in paper napkins, you are an unfit mother (or father, presumably). No, aluminium foil or cling film wrap will not suffice. That's all there is to it.
