This one's for Anthony Jackson. Yes, I saw the comment on the MOO.

2011-12-17 Rerun commentary: The MOO, wow. That refers to the Pyramid MOO, an object-oriented multi-user dungeon run by Steve Jackson Games for subscribers of Pyramid magazine. Although it was an interactive user-configurable virtual world in which you could build stuff and explore and have adventures and things, mostly we just used it to hang around and chat with one another. I suspect that's the fate of most multi-user virtual worlds. Not the big popular ones where people actually play games and go on adventures, but the plethora of little ones that vastly outnumber the well-known ones.
