I said, very recently, in the rerun annotation for #1969, that I couldn't find the background photo that I used to represent Loch Ness.

Well... I needed a background to represent Loch Ness again for this strip. I looked through a few likely photo folders for a shot of a lake, and found this one. It's the Alpsee, near Schwangau in Bavaria, Germany.


And now that I know what it is, a search finds that I mentioned this already in #1986.

The colour here is different because this scene is set early in the morning. But it's cool to realise that Jane Goodall was standing at the exact same spot where the Mythbusters are now.
