Comic #3424

1 Alvissa: The Mystical City of Disfahar is the capital of the Caliphate of Yezek. Their gods and customs are very different to ours.
2 Lambert: I enjoy experiencing different cultures. Helps you get out of the old familiar rut.
3 Alvissa: Rumour has it that strange creatures called djinn live in Yezek.
4 Lambert: Djinn? Sounds like just the tonic we need!

Visiting different cultures really is mind-expanding. It really brings home the fact that the way you live and the way you do things aren't the only ways to live or do things. Around the world, people do all sorts of things in infinitely varied ways. You might think you have some idea what a foreign place is like, but you never really know until you've been there, and there are always surprises.

And yes, it helps you get out of a rut.
