Comic #2719

1 {scene: a time machine, travelling through a lurid swirl of time}
1 Adam: Into the wild... uh... psychedelic yonder.
2 Jamie: Wow, travelling through time is like a bad trip from the 60s.
3 Adam: There! We've gone back four decades already!
4 Jamie: Did you pack travel sickness bags?

The last time I did an effect like this for the comic, I took about an hour to model and render it in 3D. (The rendering took 10 seconds, but the modelling took considerably longer.)

This time I spent about 15 seconds playing with Photoshop filters.

Sorry, I mean I spent a day painting the background on to canvas and then scanning it.
