I was aiming for a "cry wolf" gag in this strip when I wrote it. It all hinged on the fact that Ginny would yell "Wolf!", but in German. Man, it would have been hilarious.

I wrote the strip on the train to work one morning, and felt really proud. But I didn't know the German word for "wolf", so wrote a note to myself to look it up when I got home and insert it into the comic. Then it would be complete and perfect.

Readers who know German are already smiling at this point.

Since when I got home and checked my English-German dictionary, I discovered the German word for "wolf" is "Wolf".
