Of course this is inspired by the famous giant rolling stone ball scene from the opening of Raiders of the Lost Ark.

2018-03-04 Rerun commentary: The book Professor Jones is carrying is a Monster Book of Monsters from one of the Harry Potter LEGO sets.

The giant stone ball is also a LEGO piece, in fact from the Indiana Jones Temple Escape set, where it represents, wait for it... the giant stone ball from the film!
