I hope it's clear enough that the tendril of flame in the final panel is meant to be wrapping around Kyros' leg.

It was interesting drawing that in Photoshop.

2017-03-29 Rerun commentary: You should be able to see the tip of the tendril on the left of his knee, just below his sword hilt.

And yes, that means the tendril of flame goes through the back of his robes. Hey, it's fire, it can do that!

If I was doing this strip now, I'd probably have Kyros visibly falling off the bridge, rather than still standing there at the moment just prior to falling off. That would have made the punchline a bit clearer, I think.
