Comic #1023

1 {scene: on the streets of Kiev}
1 Monty: Dr Smith!
1 Ginny: Dr Jones!
2 Prof. Jones: Hello again. We were just looking for you. It's amazing that we found you, you know.
3 Prof. Jones: In London or New York, for example, we never would have had a chance.
4 Ginny: See? In the Soviet Union, even the coincidences are better.

Yeah, this is just one of those stupid plot coincidences that you see in movies now and then. These characters needed to bump into one another again, and I couldn't think of a logical (and funny) way for them to do so. So I settled for just funny.

2015-02-04 Rerun commentary: As with all things you see in movies now and then, there's now a trope for that.

Oh yeah, and this one too.

You're welcome.
