Comic #3413

1 Spanners: How can you even be semi-omnipotent? Half of infinite power is still infinite power.
2 X: I can create a rock so heavy that I cannot lift it. And then: I can't lift it!
3 X: An actual omnipotent being would be able to lift it.
4 Spanners: But then it wouldn't be so heavy that—
4 X: Yes it would! That's the point!

Just to be perfectly clear:

A semi-omnipotent being can create a rock so heavy that it cannot lift it. And can't lift it.

An omnipotent being can create a rock so heavy that it cannot lift it, and then lift it, despite it being so heavy that it can't lift it.

Simple. I don't know what people are so worked up about.
