1 {scene: on board the ship, crossing the Aegean bound for Athens from Santorini}
1 Monty: At least we know we're ahead of Dr Smith and the Nazis.
2 Monty: We'll contact the authorities in Athens and be waiting to arrest them when they dock.
3 Prof. Jones: Good thinking, Junior!
4 Minnesota Jones: {looking up into the sky at a zeppelin overtaking them} Uh... boys...

That's the Graf Zeppelin again. Handy things, zeppelins.

2014-05-22 Rerun commentary: The Graf Zeppelin had a cruising speed of 117 km/h and a top speed of 128 km/h. A typical barge has a cruising speed of about 6 km/h and a top speed of maybe 20 km/h. So yeah, they're most definitely being overtaken here.
