In hindsight, I should have actually got a cardboard box, painted a dial reading "helium-5" on the side, photographed it, and composited it into the screen on the control panel.
No, wait, that's too easy. I should have got an actual CCTV system and wired it to a micro-display on the LEGO control panel so it could display a real live image of the cardboard box...
Sometimes I really feel like I'm just taking the easy option.
