I actually researched how long Methuselah was supposed to have lived. 969 years.

And he sired his first child at 127. Not bad for an old man.

Unfortunately there's a minor mistake here. Noah (he of the flood and the ark), supposedly lived for 950 years, and died after Methuselah. So there should have been another collection in there somewhere.
