Comic #472

1 Haken: Vell, this is a pickled gherkin. We have no dinosaurs for die Führer's plans...
2 Haken: ... and they turn out to be too big, aggressive, and dangerous to capture easily.
3 Erwin: The only thing worse would be being captured by Herr Doktor and Herr Professor Jones.
4 Haken: Ja, thank goodness there's only two of them.

No, I have no idea how they were planning to take dinosaurs back to Berlin either.

2013-05-02 Rerun commentary: I made up the "pickled gherkin" idiom. I figured in English you say "well this is a fine pickle", and I wondered what might be considered a "fine pickle". When you think about it this way, the answer is obviously a gherkin.
