Comic #4327

1 Alvissa: Sometimes I’m surprised that we’ve survived this long as adventurers.
2 Lambert: Nothing to be that surprised about. Adventuring is a comparatively safe lifestyle.
3 Alvissa: What makes you say that?
3 Lambert: A dozen summers working in the garden for my aunt Roslynberta.
4 Lambert: Every time I tried to slack off, she’d throw a garden tool at me!

I considered writing the punchline as, "Every time I tried to slack off, she’d throw a rake at me!"

But then she would have had to have had an inordinate number of rakes lying around. Which I suppose would have been possible if she had been running a bordello.
