I originally wrote Adam's second line as:

I’ll drink this vodka, and record a reading of my blood alcohol level after each bottle.

A friend pointed out that "bottle" is a bit too ludicrous, whereas replacing it with "glass", while still clearly ridiculous and over the top, is a lot closer to just a bit over the top, and so therefore funnier.

On another note, I'm glad I chose vodka and not whisky, so that I could get away with using a clear glass and bottles.
