We haven't see the Head Paradox since (I think) comic #3007, over 8 years and a thousand strips ago.
I had to go down to the garage and dig the frog figure out of a storage box. I found two frogs in there, and couldn't remember which was the right one, so I brought them both back upstairs and had to check the old strips to see which was the correct one. Oddly enough, it's the less nice frog that I used - a cheap Chinese toy with a hollow belly to save some of the cheap soft plastic. The other frog is a much nicer figurine by Schleich, fully sculpted in the round in quality hard plastic.
I'm not sure why I chose the less nice frog to use as Head Paradox. In hindsight, maybe I should have switched to the nicer frog for this comic and just said it was some sort of paradox...
