1 Iki Piki: So they call Triana a libertarian society. But there are different flavours of libertarianism.
2 Iki Piki: It seems that here anyone can do whatever they want. Which is more properly an anarchy.
3 Iki Piki: Many libertarians would accept that some laws, such as against murder, assault, and theft, are desirable.
4 Serron: Where’s the fun in that?!
4 Iki Piki: Not being killed arbitrarily?
4 Serron: Overrated! Ask Paris!

Following my description of Triana as a self-proclaimed libertarian society, followed by the revelation that there are no laws on the planet, I received mail from a reader who pointed out essentially what Iki Piki says in this comic, and that the characterisation of "libertarian" as "lawless" is a common misconception.
Political philosophy is not one of the fields that I can claim to be passably competent in, so I'm happy to correct any misconceptions here.
