Comic #3692

1 Adam: Here's our scale model monster. Let's put it in the model Loch and see if we can detect it with any of our advanced detection gear.
2 {Adam puts it in}
3 Jamie: I can see it with my eyes.
4 Adam: D'you think this whole scale model thing might be a bit of a boondoggle?
4 Jamie: Yes, but then so's our entire show.

I do believe this is the first time I've ever used the word "boondoggle" in this comic.

I originally wrote this strip with Jamie saying, "I can see it with my naked eyes." But then I realised he's wearing glasses, so removed "naked". Even though the definition of naked eye can include "Vision corrected to normal acuity using corrective lenses". I just didn't want to raise the potential issue and make people have to think twice.
