2 Spanners: Take Quercus with you.
2 Serron: What for?
2 Spanners: Muscle.
3 Serron: He's made of wood! He doesn't even have any muscle tissue!
4 Spanners: And brains...
4 Serron: Likewise!!

It's interesting to imagine how a tree being would actually be built, if no magic was involved. Presumably there'd have to be some sort of muscle analogue, made of plant cells.

There's probably mad botanists working on it right now.

Actually... it's easy to imagine mad chemists, and mad physicists, and mad physicians. But there seems to be a distinct (EDIT) lack of mad botanists paucity of mad botanists compared to, say, mad chemists and physicists. (Obviously there are some, just not nearly as many.)
