The fact that J. M. Barrie wrote Peter Pan a few decades after Lewis Carroll died just goes to show how twisted the time stream is here.
And then there's the intriguing fact that the name "Wendy" was extremely rare before Barrie popularised it, which means it's a highly anachronistic name for a Caribbean pirate wench.
I wonder what cat owners in Cheshire think of the whole situation. How often do their cats vanish?
