Comic #1778

1 Minnesota Jones: Dr Smith tied us up and left us here to die.
1 Monty: In a trap that will kill us within minutes...
2 Minnesota Jones: Then she said in Latin: "In the year of our Lord 1797, the little general took the treasure to Paris."
3 Minnesota Jones: Then she told Haken she didn't want us to know where the Palladium had gone. Now why would she do that?
4 Monty: She's a Russian triple agent working with Nazis! You expect her to be consistent?
4 Prof. Jones: Well, it's only common courtesy, Junior.

You should always be courteous.

2018-07-26 Rerun commentary: Leaving your rivals tied up in a deathtrap while you flee the scene only ever makes sense if you want them to escape while you can't see them.

Once you realise the absolute truth of this, it paints a lot of villains in a completely different light. They're really all just having a jolly good jape!
