2012-01-19 Rerun commentary: Many roleplaying games mandate some form of resting time for adventurers, lest they begin to suffer penalties from exhaustion, fatigue, and lack of food and sleep. Of course these are fairly boring periods and are usually skipped over with nothing more than the GM saying something like, "You sleep for 8 hours and awake refreshed for your travels the next morning."
Some might argue that this is a missed roleplaying opportunity.
Not many, though.
