When you have to explain to people that you're making a threat, you might want to reconsider how effective your threat is ay conveying the desired message.

Pepperoni is one of the most popular pizza toppings in the USA, and also moderately popular here in Australia. I was slightly (but not overly) surprised to find that pepperoni is an American invention, albeit closely based on traditional Italian style salamis. Of course, many different styles of pizzas are also thoroughly American, and likely to confuse traditional Italian pizza eaters.
