Deaths don't need to be reminded what a psychopomp is. It sort of goes with the territory.

In the area immediately around my home, ravens are actually more common than pigeons. Australian ravens, of course. Pigeons start to take over in more densely trafficked areas, such as up the street near the shops, where they can scavenge crumbs easily.
