Comic #113

1 Martian 2: You understand the plan?
2 Martian 1: Yes, sir!
2 Martian 1: Fly to Earth, buzz some yokels, abduct the least credible people I can find, leave no physical evidence, and try not to crash the saucer!
3 Martian 2: Right. That should teach the Earthlings we mean business!
4 Martian 3: Brilliant plan.
4 Martian 2: Can't fail.

2012-03-09 Rerun commentary: That really is a cool plan.

This strip sounds like it might have been partly inspired by an old Far Side strip I read, something about aliens always buzzing rural yokels rather than anyone more credible. Or something. It was a long time ago.

The Martian saucer is an awesome LEGO model. I was happy to get the chance to use it in several strips over the years.
