Comic #2544

1 Monty: This is the same cell we were in last time. If I just move this block... {removes a block of stone from the bottom of the cell wall}
2 Monty: Oh.
2 Prof. Jones: What?
2 Monty: They've filled the tunnel with cheese!
3 Prof. Jones: That's okay. We can eat our way out!
4 Monty: American cheese.
4 Prof. Jones: Ewwww! Firing squad at dawn then.

I pretty much wrote this strip as it is, but I had worries about slandering American cheese. I don't know much about American cheese after all, not living in the US. Maybe it's actually really nice.

So I explained my problem and showed my script to some online friends from the US, to see if they would find the strip amusing, or be offended that I was making fun of a much-loved product.

Some of them had to peel themselves off the floor after laughing themselves off their chairs. Not at the comic, but at the idea that someone thought people could be offended by criticism of American cheese.
