1 Nigerian Finance Minister: Let's see then. Capital of Nigeria? Lagos... Abuja...
1 Nigerian Finance Bureaucrat: <cough>
2 Nigerian Finance Minister: I think that's probably Abuja. Lock it in.
2 Host: It's locked in.
3 Host: I thought you were from Nigeria. You were unsure of your own capital city?
4 Nigerian Finance Minister: Oh! Capital city... I get it. Can I change my answer to Lagos?

Lagos used to be the capital of Nigeria, until it was moved to the newly constructed Abuja in 1991.

It's interesting that several countries have constructed completely new cities for the specific purpose of making them capital cities, rather than just designating an existing city the capital.
