I normally leave the stars sharp in the background. This time I tried blurring them to better match the depth of field of the photographs in the foreground. I was reluctant to try this before because I didn't want to blur them out completely - a little blurring goes a long way when you're looking at pinpoints of light. But I think it worked nicely.
